Beware the Bubble Moth!

Harry insisted on taking pictures of the Luna Moth shawl today. Consequently, we have this spider-eyed view of the thing:

Harry proceeded to hike up the little trail in the center for what he considers rigorous exercise, while I took a more human-eyed picture:

This is a delightful knit and the silly bumps are fun to poke. I assume they will disappear during blocking. If not, then I can enjoy poking them for years.

What a lovely colour! The bumps do disappear with blocking. Sorry to disappoint you. ;-)

Oh I thought you would do a very light blocking and have a shawl just like bubble wrap :(

Ooo, I love the color (precisely the shade of a luna moth, no coincidence, I'm certain.) *Sigh* Another shawl pattern to add to my ever-growing list...

Is that by Evelyn Clark?

I love the colors :-) Beautiful work as usual.

Is that the Luna Moth from Elann, or the Wings of the Moth from Knitspot? or a hybrid, or cross-breed, or third cousin twice removed, or whatever you want to call it? :-)

The bumps will go with the blocking, my flowerbasket shawl looked the same before blocking. Lovely yarn btw.

Dear Dave--

This is KnitSpot's Wings of the Moth. So far, I haven't changed the pattern (probably a first for me). But only the first section is done, so there's plenty of time for variation :)
